Nothing says country like bright, shiny red apples. The first spring we lived in South Carolina we went apple picking up in the hills. A gorgeous, sunny day with the kids running around the apple farm filling their own baskets and sneaking a bite or two here and there. A wonderful memory of a simple, family day in the country!
