SHADES OF PEACH

I began this painting by wetting 140 lb Arches watercolor paper and laying in the basic shapes for the flowers with shades of pink and peach. I suggested some petals and added some greenery while everything was still wet and loose. After the paper had dried I came back in with some negative painting to add definition to the flowers, leaves and stems. My favorite way to paint!
