It is great fun to paint flowers in watercolor. The paint flows and blends on wet paper creating beautiful colors and shapes. When the paint is dry it is time to find the shapes of the flowers by painting around them - this is called negative painting and is a positive way to create white or lighter shapes in watercolor.
