Once I had a dedicated space at home to paint everything seemed to change. When I first began painting with watercolor I was taking classes but not painting at home, so my progress was pretty slow. When I set up my art table it was much easier to take small sections of time at home and sit down to paint. And I started to see marked improvement.
You don't need to start with an elaborate studio at home. Just some place where you can leave your painting and supplies out and don't have to pick up and put everything away every time you create. Make it easy and accessible. And start painting!
