HIBISCUS GLOW
Watercolor - 11x14
If you are ever in a position to give a demonstration of your artwork, do it! The first time you are asked your first reaction might be to say no, but I suggest that you push yourself to dot. It gets easier every time and it always turns out to be fun and rewarding.
Here are a few suggestions for your demo:
- Paint something you are very familiar with and have painted before
- Practice the painting on your own, plan out your palette and supplies
- Practice talking about the painting and the steps you take
- Come to the presentation prepared. Bring business cards to hand out.
- Come early and get set up before the audience arrives so you have time to chat before the demo
- If the painting isn't working out or is going in a different direction during the demo just keep painting. Your audience will never know
