Watercolors will always be my first love but I have really enjoyed the creative journey of experimenting with oils. I have thrown away many failures and wanted to give up along the way but I am glad that I pushed through it and came away with several paintings that I am pleased with. It is easy to get in a comfortable rut with our art so it is good to shake things up a bit every once and a while.
