It isn't always easy to create texture in a painting using watercolor so we have to rely on some creative tricks. I sprinkled salt into the trees while the green paint was still wet and used a credit card to scrape in shapes for the rocks. I also used a white oil pastel to create highlights in the waterfall and show drops of water on the rocks.
