ROSES IN BLOOM

I painted Roses In Bloom using a different compositional approach. I sketched a rectangle in the center of the paper, painted it blue and then let parts of the roses and leaves extend over in to the white border around it. When I was finished I felt like the white was a little too stark so I lightly spattered some green over it.
