I guess I am a perpetual student. I LOVE to learn new things. I am happiest with my nose in a book or watching an educational YouTube or taking a class. Especially an art class or workshop.
One of the things I love most about painting is that artists are never done learning. We never totally master it. There is always room to learn, grow, experiment and explore. Art workshops can expose us to new ideas and techniques which can lead to new growth for even the most experienced artist. We often learn just as much from the other students as we do the teacher. And it is always so much fun to be around other creative people . Their zest for life, creative curiosity and excitement over a new brush or paint color.
So maybe it is time to treat yourself to a new class or two
