Yellow Rose now has a new home with Janis in my home state of Texas - brings to mind the song 'The Yellow Rose of Texas'
It seems that I usually paint pink roses so I had fun using shades of yellow and gold for this painting. I carried some of those warm shades into the leaves for continuity in the composition.
