Country Church was a demo for my weekly classes where we were focusing on painting a white building of some sort and creating the illusion of leaves on trees. Since we can't build up paint for tactile texture with watercolors we have to create visual texture using different methods. We painted with a natural sea sponge, spattered the watercolor and even used some salt in the trees, all to create the illusion of leaves on the trees.
