HOLLYHOCK EVENING

During one of my Memories in the Making art sessions for the Alzheimer's Association an elderly woman was painting holly hocks and she shared a story about them. When she was young and living on a farm people would plant holly hocks around their outhouses so if a lady was visiting she could politely ask 'where are your holly hocks' when she needed to powder her nose. I love that story!
