For some reason we are often reluctant to give ourselves permission to be creative. We put other tasks and people first and never seem to have the time to sit down and draw or paint. I have learned that the first step is to create an area where you can put out your paints, brushes and paper and then allow yourself a small amount of time each day to make art. Start small and build from there. Pretty soon you will realize the joy that it brings to your life!
