Breckenridge Batik - KOI FISH

KOI FISH
Original Watercolor Batik - 12x19
$100 - Buy Here

Koi Fish is a watercolor batik painted on rice paper using watercolors and melted wax as a resist. This is a fun technique because the paint tends to run and crawl along the fibers of the rice paper creating interesting textural effects. I will be focusing on this technique during my Artist in Residence  program in Breckenridge, CO.
