I love driving along country roads and seeing old barns, they evoke a sense of nostalgia and represent a simpler time. I feel like they symbolize hard work and endurance and their weathered appearance seem to whisper stories from their past.
I also love bright, happy sunflowers so I decided to combine the two in this watercolor collage painting, SUNFLOWER BARN. The beauty of being an artist is that we can create our own, special world.
