CHRISTMAS POINSETTIA

The Plein Air Painting group that I belong to recently painted inside a local nursery where we had loads of beautiful poinsettia plants to paint from.
I set up my portable easel and oil paints near some the red poinsettias so I could focus in on a close up of one of the larger flowers.
It was very cold outside so it was nice to be in a warm nursery but still have the feeling of plain air painting outdoors.
