POPPY FIELD

I had a lot of fun painting this field of bright red poppies. One of the advantages of using oil paint is that you can use a flat brush to apply big, bold strokes of color on the flowers and add light green blades of grass to the background. At the end, I came in with a few pops of color using lavender for wild flowers.
