While working in the studio this week I started thinking about the process of making a piece of art. The way one mark leads to another, like steps along a path to a place I can't quite see clearly yet. To a destination that will suddenly come in to view as along as I keep moving forward.
In our artistic journey we are constantly exploring and experimenting with the hope that all of that will lead us to a creative and exciting piece of art. There is always something a little bit scary about starting a new painting but we just have to trust that if we follow and enjoy the process of creating, we will get there eventually.
