CALLA LILY MUSIC
Watercolor collage - 11x14
Watercolor by itself is always fun to paint with but there are endless possibilities for combining it with other media. For Calla Lily Music I began the painting with traditional wet on wet watercolor and then used very thin rice paper to create texture. When all of that was dry, I used negative painting the further define the flowers and then created collage papers with a musical rubber stamp on rice paper. A very fun, creative process!
