Here's a little peek in to my art process. Sometimes I need to let my paintings 'percolate'. I work on several paintings at a time so that I can let them percolate, giving the right side of my brain time to decide what needs to be done next. It is easy to over work a painting if you don't tale a break from it, especially with watercolor. It is also easy to get stuck, and not know what the next step should be. More color? Detail? Contrast?
By giving yourself and your paintings some breathing room you just may find that next creative burst of energy that you need!
