KOI POND

There is something so peaceful and zen-like about watching colorful koi swimming in a pond. When we lived in South Carolina the previous owners had build a rock pond with koi fish and we were lucky enough to inherit them. We had just gotten Ginger, our golden retriever puppy and she kept jumping in the pond and scaring the fish so we eventually had to fence it off from her. I imagine it took a while for the koi to recover from that!
