FALL APPLES

I am always amazed when I start seeing just a hint of fall in the middle of August. The temperatures are still high and the living is easy but as the days shorten a few leaves begin to fall from the trees and that feeling that autumn is just around the corner sets in. You start to see pumpkins, scarecrows and autumn decor in the stores and the urge to go pick apples is strong. This year we get to enjoy that fun activity with our two little granddaughters. I can't wait!
