SOUTHERN BEAUTY

Now that my Countdown to Valentine's Day is complete I can look forward to springtime and working on some new paintings in my studio. I always enjoy painting magnolia blossoms with their creamy white petals and southern beauty. I used a palette of soft blues, olive green for the leaves and a hint of yellow ochre reflected in the petals of the magnolia flower.
The South is where Tea is Sweet, Words are long, Days are warm and Faith is strong.
