CATCH THE WIND

I cannot tell you how much fun I had with this painting. I began with wet paper and lots of fun colors while leaving some white areas in the center. I placed plastic wrap on the wet paint to create interesting texture and left it to dry. When I removed the plastic I began using negative painting to create the white sails for the focal area and then moved to the sails in the background, letting them be whatever color was already there.
