ROSES & LACE

I pulled this painting from my stack of unfinished class demos - the three roses and leaves were complete but not much in the background so I decided to shake thing sup a bit and add a hint of lace.
I used several shapes and styles of doilies as stencils and painted them peeking out from around the roses. I strengthened the roses and added a few more leaves and was very happy with the final result!
