Watercolor on gessoed paper - 11x15
For Victorian House I first coated 140 lb watercolor paper with white gesso to create a sick painting surface for the watercolor. This allows you to paint quickly and freely, letting the paint run, drip and blossom, all the time knowing that you can easily lift the paint back to white paper - and start all over gain if you want!
