BLUE and GOLD
Watercolor - 11x15
Several years ago, I decided to take the plunge and create my own website for my watercolor paintings. I had put it off for several years because at the time they were not easy to set up yourself but then I found out that yahoo made it VERY easy. Since then I have added a blog, a newsletter, Facebook, Etsy, Flicker and Pinterest.
There are new sites popping up everyday where you can feature your art and at times it can be overwhelming, but no matter how many different sites you belong to a website remains the hub.
Unlike Facebook, Pinterest and many other sites you have total control over your own website.
Your website features your artwork only so you don't get lost in the crowd.
You can build your own mailing list from people interested in your website.
You can sell from your website and not have to give a commission to someone else.
You, and you alone decide when and how to make changes to your website.
Is it time for you to build your own website?
