FIELD OF DAISIES

Here in Colorado if we get a winter snow storm the sun will come out the next day and warm things up but we have had below zero temperatures and snow on the ground for over a week now. I decided if I could not change the weather outside I could paint warm summer daisies inside. I began with wet paper and freely applied colors of blue and green, trying to keep some white areas for my flowers. When all was dry I used alot of negative painting to create the daisy shapes - I feel warmer already.
