Watercolor Collage 13x18
This was a painting that I had started several years ago and it had been put in my 'need to finish' pile. When I pulled it out to work on again I decided that it would be fun to add some collage so I painted some tissue papers in coordinating blues, purples and greens and added some white rice paper for more texture. You never know for sure how it will turn when using collage but I was pleased with the final piece!
I am always excited at the start of a new year - what will my goals be for 2014? will I finally get through my pile of unfinished paintings? Will I try a new medium? Take some classes? Endless possibilities for a creative and productive year - what are your art goals?
