PASSION'S PROMISE

The first step in painting Passions' Promise was to coat the watercolor paper with white acrylic gesso, creating a slick surface for the watercolor. Because the paint sits on the surface of the gesso the colors stay bright and it allows for a more painterly style with drips and blossoms part of the overall effect - too much fun!
