DAISY PETALS
Watercolor Batik 8x10
SOLD
When I first began painting in watercolor over twenty years ago I focused more on landscapes but thru the years I have gravitated more and more towards painting flowers. Their bright colors and flowing shapes provide endless creative inspiration so please join me for a week of celebrating spring flowers!
Daisies are such a pretty, fresh spring flower and they are always fun to paint. I used melted wax as a resist and painted with my watercolors on rice paper for a batik-like look. I am always in for a surprise when I iron off all of the wax and see the final piece - adds to the creative process!
