SPRING WINDOW
Watercolor 8x10
SOLD
My favorite way of begining a painting in watercolor is to wet the paper first and let the paint flow freely to blend colors. For a change of pace I decided to paint Spring Window on dry paper, applying the paint quickly and boldly, using strong colors and trying to get as much detail as I could before things dried. I added a few more darks and strengthened some of the colors in the flowers to finish things up.
