BLUE AND GOLD FLORAL

I painted this a couple of years ago but did not really have a good photo of it so I took another one that shows all of the texture more clearly and updated all my sites with it.
I began this by stamping all sorts of texture on dry paper in a random fashion and then decided to make it in to a floral by painting around the flower shapes. You can see where I used bubble wrap and some corrugated cardboard as stamps.
I also used some plastic netting and bottle caps as stamps - you can really use anything you have on hand in your studio, kitchen or junk drawer - finally a good reason not to throw things away!
