Each year the Alzheimer's Association Memories in the Making art program hosts a tea to honor the artist with demetia who participate in their painting sessions. You can see one of the artists with her daughter proudly pointing to her matted and framed painting.
Many of the paintings depicting birds were used to make a quilt which will be auctioned off to raise money for the art program.
Each of the Memories in the Making artists received a beautiful wrist corsage to honor their participation in the program.
