SINGLE ROSE

I just finished teaching a four week class on Watercolor Flowers at the Colorado Springs Fine Art Center. The first week we painted roses and concentrated on building up layers of color on dry paper, paying close attention to values.
Here are a few of the ladies in class - a great group, all willing to jump right in and tackle roses - not the easiest flower to paint!
