The Creative Monday Challenge for this week is to use negative painting as the method of creating your main subject matter. Negative painting is when we paint the space around an object instead of the object itself. This is especially important in watercolor where we cannot really apply lighter paint to an area - you have to add dark around it to make it appear lighter.
