I am not really a neat and tidy kind of person and my studio space is a true testament to that. I have learned to embrace my messy art room because it means that I am happily creating, surrounded by my many, many art supplies and paintings in various stages of progress.
Every so often I do get the urge to tidy things up. I sort, clean and try to bring order to my mess. I usually make pretty good progress for a while but then I discover some new art supply that I need to try out or an exciting start to a painting that calls to me to work on it. And the joy of being an artist begins again!
