With the start of fall, the days getting a little shorter and the temperature cooling slightly I am feeling new creative inspiration and energy in the studio. I love summer and the time spent outside but I also love the feel of autumn and the changing seasons.
With art and life it is important to embrace the changes that come our way - whether small or large. I always tell my students that it can be hard to get yourself started on a painting and you will feel like it is a big mess at some point in the middle but if we can trust the creative process it will be glorious in the end!
