ADOBE CONNECTION - Pouring Paint and a New Home

ADOBE CONNECTION
Watercolor - 11x14
SOLD

I don't often use the watercolor technique of 'pouring' paint but for Adobe Connection I wanted a nice, soft glow so I gave it a try. First, I wet the paper and then I mixed the three primary colors straight from the tube with some water in small cups and randomly poured them on the paper. I tilted my art board to allow the paint to mix and then let everything dry before I started painting the pueblos. I love the soft look of the base colors that shine through the entire painting and am happy to say that it now has a new home in Washington with Debbie.
