ON THE WATCH

The Creative Challenge last week was to include some kind of animal in your painting. I have always enjoyed seeing the deer out in the wild areas of Colorado and the few brave ones that venture in to the surrounding neighborhoods. I purposely kept the background and foreground loose so that the focus was on the deer resting peacefully in the grass.
