Breckenridge Tin Shop - Artist Studio

FRESH SNOW
Original Watercolor - 11x15

While I am in Breckenridge as an Artist in Residence I will be staying at the historic Tin Shop located in the town's Arts District.
The Tin Shop is Breckenridge's guest artist facility with studio space on the ground floor and furnished living quarters above.
Artist are invited to stay at the Tin Shop and work on their medium of choice - mine of course is watercolor with an emphasis on watercolor batik. The artist is also expected to interact with the public and lead a participation program so I will also be teaching a Watercolor Batik Workshop. Don't you love the cute sign!
This is the wonderful view from the Tin Shop of the Breckenridge mountains and ski slopes - just beautiful. I feel so lucky to be able to look at this everyday!
I shared this with Paint Party Friday and Artists in Blogland

  1. From what I hear, Breckenridge is probably just like your painting, knee-deep in snow. Your painting is gorgeous. Have fun as artist in residence.
