WINTER FOREST
Watercolor Batik - 12x19
Once a month Breckenridge hosts Second Saturday in the Arts District where they feature different artists in each of their historic buildings. Here is the flyer showing examples of work from each of the featured artists.
Here I am in front of the Tin Shop - my husband insisted on taking a photo, not my favorite thing - and of course I specialize in watercolors and watercolor batiks.
This is the Breckenridge Theatre and each month they open up a new play on Second Saturday and feature two artists - this month was textile artist Monica Cowing and woodworker Tim Sabo.
Across from the Tin Shop is the Fuqua Livery Stable where photographer Carl Scofield is the resident artist.
Down the street is the Robert Whyte House featuring glass artist Ned Walley. It was a fun evening visiting with the other artists, the Mayor of Breckenridge, the Arts Council and many of the town reside
nts.
