HEAVENLY DELIGHTS
Mixed Media Collage - 12x12x1.5 in canvas
I love using odds and ends of papers as a background for my mixed media work. The scraps of paper with flowers, musical notes and handwriting add an instant feeling of texture, depth and a sense of history to the artwork.
Then I use acrylic paint to blend edges, stamp designs and add color. For the final layer I like to add pieces of lace, fabric, and photos to finish the composition.
