We lived in Colorado for many years and I always enjoyed painting aspen trees with their rough bark.

Now that we live in Tennessee everyone calls them birch trees, very similar in look and just as fun to paint.

Martha Kisling: Welcome to my world of colorful contemporary art! My artistic practice focuses on interpreting the world around me using lines, shapes, texture and especially color in a semi abstract style. My hope is to create a personal connection with you the viewer, both visually and emotionally with art from my heart to yours!
