It can be lonely being a creative. We often work alone in our studios and if you are like me, you crave the conversation, brainstorming and warmth that comes from having other like-minded people around you. Not everyone you know will be as excited as you are over finding a new color to use or a new brush to try.

You creative community is comprised of those who “get” you and resonate with your art, your values and you as a person. Joining a local art group, taking a class, participating in open studios, teaching a class, giving a demonstration to a club are just a few of the ways that you can find your people and build your community.
