Watercolor Collage - 11x15
There are so many creative options when painting with watercolor and combining it with collage is one of them. I first hand painted some white tissue paper with shades of yellow, gold and orange and then collected some store bought green tissue that had holly patterns printed on. I began by loosely adding color on wet paper to give myself a map for the collage, then used matte medium to apply the tissue to the sunflowers and leaves. When that was dry, I used watercolor to paint in details and shadows for more definition.
