WILD ROSES

Years ago, before I really started painting with watercolor, I did a lot of decorative painting using acrylics or oils. I painted on wood, glass or canvas and really enjoyed all of the fun designs that were available. I have painted these wild roses in watercolor before but used more pinks and reds so I decided it would be fun to change things up a bit.
I used different shades of blue in the background, changed the ribbon from pink to blue and added a few yellow and peach roses. It is always fun to recreate a painting using a different color scheme and a great way to challenge yourself creatively.
