I often hear my students say that they are not sure when their painting is finished. I tell them that it is important to step back and view it from a distance with a fresh eye and to ask yourself some key questions.
I decided to put together a list of helpful questions for evaluating your artwork and grouped them using the four C's - Composition, Color, Character and Craftsmanship.
