Watercolor Leaves and the PaperArtsy Blue and Ochre Challenge

WINDSWEPT
Watercolor - 11x15

One of my watercolor paintings of stamped leaves was featured on the PaperArtsy blog as an example of using the colors blue and yellow ochre together. They are hosting a challenge to create something with that color combination and have included wonderful examples of artists that have used blue and ochre.

Colorful mason jars from Ashley

Painted frames in shades of blue, white, grey and ochre from The Speckled Egg

Fun jewelry made with colorful beads, yarns and charms from Gomeow

Beautiful embellished buttons from Anita Simmance

A textured mixed media piece from Jolande

It is always fun to see how other artists express their creativity and if you want to join in the Blue and Ochre Challenge you can visit the PaperArtsy blog here
