FRESH SNOW

I am not at all ready for snow but there is definitely a feeling of autumn here in East Tennessee with some of the leaves starting to turn fall colors. The Creative Monday Challenge for this week is to paint a landscape with a high horizon. We usually put the horizon line a little above or below the midpoint of the paper so in this case I move it up even further to create a high horizon and more foreground in the painting. This adds a little drama to the composition and allows you to place your focal point on the horizon.
